This is a permanent, full-time position at a well established CPA firm in Lansing, IL conveniently located off of I-80/94 at Torrence Avenue exit.

Your Professional Opportunity:

 

You will gain full responsibility for managing a wide array of existing and new clients.  You will experience the professional and personal joys of exercising your knowledge and talents to help serve our clients beyond their expectations.  You will have opportunities to manage special projects such as helping our clients with their day-to-day needs, developing financial reporting systems, preparing financial projections and budgets, and many other unique assignments to help our clients maximize their profits.

 

You will participate in our firm’s growth by contributing to, developing, and implementing parts of our formal annual Business Development Plan.  You may become a member on one of our many sub-committees that were formed to establish and implement action steps that will help achieve the goals defined in our Business Development Plan.  Our firm’s sub-committees consist of the Client Services & Marketing Team, Construction Services Team, Information Technology Team, Staff Training Team and Social Activities Team.

 

Your Qualifications:  

 

You must have a minimum of 5 years experience with a CPA firm and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.  You must have manager/supervisory experience.  Having your CPA is generally required at this level.  You must have experience in reviewing accounting and tax workpapers, financial statements, and tax returns.  You must be able to manage staff and work assignments in the most efficient and productive manner possible.  You must also be able to communicate very well with clients and staff.  QuickBooks experience is required.
